Hello, distinguished members of the IVF Centres Forum;

As one of the number one gynecologists in Cyprus, I aim to provide a reliable treatment process to my patients with a sensitive attitude. We provide health services in this direction with my expert team.

Thanks to advanced medical devices, we have achieved a high success rate with different IVF methods established in Cyprus.

We are providing you with an environment that will make our patients feel comfortable with our staff, all of whom are women, as a number one obstetrician with the certificate of in vitro fertilization certified by T.C. Ministry of Health.

In line with my observations, all the reasons that prevent pregnancy are revealed with the tests and we solve the problem with appropriate treatment.

The fact that IVF treatments are extremely easy, painless and non-surgical is one of the preferred areas to have a child with high success rate.

For couples who decide to start an IVF treatment with different methods, we decide which method is applied after determining what the problem is.

In addition to normal IVF treatment, sperm donation, egg donation, PGD method, embryo donation etc. We choose the most appropriate treatment for the patient's problem.

In the IVF Centres Forum, i will not only reply to the questions of the distinguished members of IVF Centres Forum but also share my articles and informative papers with you.

Best Regards,

Hello doctor. We had a child in a natural way.We can’t have the second one. Our problem is unexpained infertility. We have experienced IVF treatment twice and we couldn’t go to transfer in both of them. Eggs and sperm cells seem to be normal. Now we don’t know what to do.

Hello, It is appropriate to evaluate the hormone values and usg related to your problem and to evaluate the egg reserve in detail. Good luck. Dr. Mürüde Çakartaş Dağdelen

Hello, You have to stay at least 5 days in Cyprus. You can travel daily depending on our treatment schedule/program. Our IVF Center is in Lefkoşa which is the capital of Cyprus. Dr. Mürüde Çakartaş Dağdelen

Despite having a sexual intercourse for at least 1 year without the use of any method of protection 2-3 times a week, if a couple can’t have a baby that is called "infertility" Couples who experience this problem are also called infertile.

We can separate infertility as first and second degree infertility.

Primary infertility (primary infertility): In the absence of pregnancy during a period of at least one year.

Secondary infertility (secondary infertility): In the case of having a child again after pregnancy, it is the case that there is no new pregnancy despite not being protected for at least one year.

The prevalence of infertility does not differ much between societies. Approximately 15% of couples all over the world have to resort to assisted reproductive techniques for infertility. While in most of these infertile couples there may be reasons to explain the reason for not being pregnant, no pathology can be detected in about 10-12%. The problem in these couples is called unexplained infertility

Even if there is a single normal couple of women who have no health problems in a single menstrual period, they are only 25% likely to get pregnant. This situation, which shows the couple's fertility potential, is called “fecundity”

As seen, pregnancy (fertility) is actually a matter of probability. It is not possible to predict which pair can become pregnant or which one cannot.

The chance of obtaining a 25% pregnancy in a single month (fertility) reaches 85% at the end of a year. That is, at the end of one year, 85 of every 100 couples will have pregnancy and the remaining 15 couples will face infertility.

Infertility studies stated that infertility is caused by 40% of the men, 40% of the woman and 20% of the both.
