Recognizing the importance of a healthy sex life, Dr. Navi has devoted a significant amount of his practice to female sexual dysfunction. He is actively involved in research in causes and treatment of sexual dysfunction in the female patient and partner. A combination of medical, psychological, and sometimes surgical treatments is used to achieve the desired results.
Surgically, Dr. Navi is an expert in the full range of minimally invasive techniques in the treatment of gynecological problems.
A problem that is not often addressed yet affects women of all ages is urinary incontinence. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of incontinence. Modalities of care may include such things as urodynamic testing, behavioral therapy, medicinal and surgical treatments. Our goal is to optimize your quality of life.

Biography:
Dr. Navi is the founder and the medical director of Valencia Center for Women’s Health. Dr. Navi received his undergraduate degree in genetics and molecular biology at University of California with the highest honors. He has experience and extensive interest in medical research. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Navi completed a comprehensive research fellowship in molecular and cell biology at University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Navi further expanded his research experience at University of Southern California School of Medicine, where he received his medical degree.
At USC school of medicine, Dr. Navi’s had an opportunity to work on ground breaking research projects in the fields of obstetrics, gynecology, endocrinology, infertility, and ultrasound imaging. He investigated the effects of seizure disorders and the treatment modalities in pregnancy. Dr. Navi was awarded the Pacific Coast Fertility Society’s award in Estrogen research.
Dr. Navi finished his internship in Obstetrics at the busiest maternity unit in the United States, at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He continued his residency at Mount Sinai-Maimonides Medical Center in New York. In New York, Dr. Navi continued his research activities. In the field of Obstetrics, his group’s work in use of ultrasonography to predicate preterm labor was published and later received numerous awards. In the area of Infertility and Endocrinology, Dr. Navi works contributed in the understanding of effects of embryo’s size and quality in the process of in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
Dr. Navi was awarded and completed the prestigious Galloway fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. There, he had opportunity to advance his surgical skills in complex gynecological surgeries as well as latest laparoscopic and endoscope techniques.
In private practice, Dr. Navi has expanded his interest in the field of urogynecology and pelvic surgery. In southern California, he pioneered the use of the new Transopturator Sling procedure in the treating female urinary incontinence. This new procedure has significantly reduced the risk of complication of these types of surgeries while significantly reducing the operating time and postoperative pain and discomfort.
